Under the guidance of M.P. The corporation’s priority is to ensure that citizens face no inconvenience in their commute during the monsoon.

All field officers at the divisional level are carrying out repair work on their allocated routes. Officers from the divisional to the headquarters level are continuously monitoring the roads, and the work of filling potholes is ongoing without interruption. The M.P. Road Development Corporation has formed a team of 22 senior officials, who have been appointed to the corporation’s 13 divisions. The team includes 5 Chief Engineer-level officers, 5 General Manager-level officers, and the remaining officials are at the divisional level. These officials will tour the state’s roads from August 24 to August 26, 2024, and submit a detailed report on road conditions to the Managing Director.

Typically, road repair and maintenance work begins after the rainy season, around October. This is the first time that MPRDC is carrying out road repair and patching work during the monsoon season. The corporation is treating this work as a campaign, which is providing the public and local residents with accessible and smooth transportation.
