Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh is a sacred land inspired by the presence of Lord Krishna and Lord Ram. It is our fortune that Lord Krishna, after the killing of Kansa, received education at the Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain and is known worldwide as Krishna. It is the state’s privilege that Lord Krishna and Sudama’s friendship took place in Narayana, symbolizing that true friendship transcends wealth and poverty. In Amjera near Dhar, Krishna demonstrated valor by defeating Rukmi in the abduction of Rukmini. Near Indore, in Janapav, Krishna received the Sudarshan Chakra from Parshuram, exemplifying humility and devotion. These four sites in Madhya Pradesh bring to life the history of Lord Krishna, highlighting his divine play recognized globally as Yogeshwar Krishna.
On the occasion of Janmashtami, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav urged everyone to remember these significant locations in the state. He mentioned that the state government is committed to developing all places where Lord Krishna’s feet have touched into pilgrimage sites. Extending his wishes and congratulations to the residents on Janmashtami, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized the need to revive Krishna’s legacy in modern times by spreading his messages of friendship, valor, humility, and education to every individual and incorporating them into daily life.
