New Delhi – Ishan Kishan, captain of Jharkhand, continues to make headlines at the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament in Chennai. With Ishan Kishan currently out of the Indian team, his stellar performances in the tournament have added to the dilemmas of coaches and selectors.

After scoring a magnificent century in the tournament, Ishan Kishan has now tried his hand at bowling. In the match against Hyderabad, Ishan Kishan was seen bowling, and his bowling video has gone viral on social media.

Jharkhand Suffers Defeat

Jharkhand’s performance in the match was not satisfactory, and the team faced a 9-wicket defeat. Ishan Kishan did not make a significant impact with the bat in this match. In the 64th over, Ishan bowled right-arm off-spin to T. Ravi Teja from round the wicket. He bowled 2 overs, conceding 5 runs but did not achieve any breakthroughs. In the first innings of the match, he scored 1 run, and in the second innings, he made 5 runs.

Ishan Kishan has not bowled in international cricket or the IPL so far. In first-class cricket, he has bowled 5 overs, conceding 19 runs at an economy rate of 3.8.

Ishan Kishan’s Road to Comeback

Ishan Kishan, who has been out of the Indian team for a long time, decided to participate in the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament for a comeback. He had played a blazing innings against Madhya Pradesh, including 9 sixes. In that match, the Jharkhand captain played a match-winning knock and hit 2 sixes to secure victory for his team.

Ishan Kishan has not played any international matches this year and did not receive a central contract from the BCCI. Speculation is now rife that Ishan might make a return in the Test series against Bangladesh.
