Efforts Through Schemes Must Translate into Results – Minister Rawat

Review Meeting of Mandla District

Jabalpur, September 1, 2024: Minister of Forests, Environment, and Mandla District, Mr. Ramnivas Rawat, emphasized during the review meeting of Mandla district that the government is implementing various schemes for the welfare of different sections of society. He instructed officials to work with full capacity to ensure that every eligible individual benefits from these schemes. Minister Rawat also stressed the need to convert the efforts made through these schemes into tangible results.

Key Directives:

  1. Awareness Campaigns: Conduct awareness campaigns to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates and eliminate malnutrition.
  2. Malnourished Children: Register malnourished children in the NRC (Nutritional Rehabilitation Center) and provide better health services.
  3. Road Connectivity: Improve road connectivity by linking every village in the district with roads.
  4. Revenue Campaign: Re-examine cases of name changes, boundary marking, and partition that were canceled during the Revenue Mahabhiyan.
  5. Development Works: Seek cooperation from public representatives in development works and ensure that construction projects are completed on time and with high quality.
  6. Forest Produce Processing: Advance the collection and processing of forest produce and provide employment opportunities through these activities.
  7. Eco-Tourism: Develop a detailed action plan to promote eco-tourism and boost tourism in the district.
  8. Tree Plantation: Ensure robust measures for the protection of plants planted under the “Tree Plantation” campaign.
  9. Education System: Enhance the education system by improving literacy rates and maintaining school buildings.

Minister Rawat also performed Narmada worship and wished for the prosperity and well-being of the district’s residents. District Panchayat President Sanjay Kushram, Collector Somesh Mishra, Superintendent of Police Rajat Saklecha, CEO of District Panchayat Shreyansh Koomat, and other public representatives were present at the event.
