During his visit to Khargone, Divisional Commissioner of Indore, Mr. Deepak Singh, reviewed the Revenue Mega Campaign 2.0. He inspected the Collector’s Court, Additional Collector’s Court, SDM Court, and Tehsil Court in Khargone and gathered information on the ongoing cases in these courts. During the inspection, he observed the revenue-related cases and reviewed the status of old cases.
Mr. Singh directed that prompt resolution of revenue cases be ensured and that the revenue mega campaign be effectively implemented at the ground level. He emphasized meeting the campaign’s objectives within the stipulated timeframe and prioritizing the resolution of old pending revenue cases. Immediate action should be taken to address revenue-related issues raised by the public. He also reviewed revenue collection and issued necessary instructions.
Additionally, Mr. Singh assessed the progress of various revenue tasks and schemes, including comprehensive e-KYC, map amendments, uncontested name transfers, uncontested divisions, record corrections, and the Ownership Scheme. During the inspection of the revenue archives, he instructed to ensure proper organization and security of records. He reviewed the revenue records of the Zhirnya Tehsil, noting that the records from 1925 have now been digitized.
Collector Mr. Karmaveer Sharma, Additional Collector Mrs. Rekha Rathore, Mr. J.S. Baghel, Joint Collector Mrs. Hemlata Solanki, and SDM Mr. Bhaskar Gachle were also present during the inspection.
