Assigned Responsibility after 20 Years of Panchayati Raj Representation
Lalbarra (SD News Agency): MLA Mrs. Anubha Munjare from Balaghat Assembly Constituency No. 111 has appointed Anis Khan, the Sarpanch of Lalbarra, as her representative for the Balaghat District Panchayat.
It is noteworthy that Anis Khan is currently the only public representative in the entire district who has been continuously elected to the Panchayati Raj system since 2004. He has been representing the largest Gram Panchayat of the Lalbarra Block Headquarters for the fourth time. Anis Khan served as a Janpad Panchayat member for 10 years and has been elected as Sarpanch for the last 10 years. He is recognized as a senior and experienced representative in the Panchayati Raj sector.
Anis Khan, who is considered close to former Chief Minister and current Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh, has been appointed by MLA Mrs. Anubha Munjare as her representative for the Balaghat District Panchayat from the Balaghat Assembly Constituency No. 111. The Lalbarra Janpad Panchayat consists of three DDC regions, and the Janpad Panchayat Balaghat comprises two DDC regions. This area includes 77 Gram Panchayats of the Lalbarra Block, 10 Gram Panchayats of the Balaghat Block and Janpad Panchayat, and two District Panchayats.
Anis Khan, considered close to former Chief Minister and current Rajya Sabha MP Shri Digvijay Singh, has been continuously elected in the three-tier Panchayati Raj system for the last 20 years. He has been elected twice as a Janpad Panchayat member and twice as the Sarpanch of the largest Gram Panchayat. He has also held various positions in the District Congress Committee and is currently serving as the Secretary of the District Congress Balaghat.
The appointment of Lalbarra’s young Sarpanch Anis Khan as the MLA representative by MLA Mrs. Anubha Munjare has been met with joy by the residents of the area.
